The Intern position is a 3 week temporary position for the specific task of calling healthcare systems and medical practices to determine the EHR vendor and platform of the system being used.
Call healthcare providers from assigned list;
Make contact with a manager in the organization who can provide the information needed;
Keep a daily manual log of calls made, and the results of conversation, including contact name, title, phone number, e-mail, and response;
Track calls which were not successful for follow up; and
Enter relevant information into the SRSA system. Access will be required through HR and IT
Coursework towards obtaining bachelor's degree in health administration;
Knowledge of healthcare management terminology and EHR systems;
Excellent customer service and telephone skills, with a clear speaking voice; and
Computer proficient, attention to detail in documenting phone conversations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
