HRIS Analyst

Inovalon develops cutting-edge software solutions that are helping to revolutionize the Healthcare Informatics industry. We are currently seeking an HRIS Analyst to provide support to our HRIS Team. The HRIS Analyst serves as a liaison between the Human Resources(HR) and Information Technology (IT) Departments to provide systems support and analysis and to deliver technology solutions to meet the needs of the HR Department and users of the HRIS system throughout the company.
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools;
Perform analysis, documentation of requirements and development of solutions to business problems/opportunities;
Assist with the management of implementations, updates and enhancements to HRIS programs;
Recommend process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions;
Assist in creating and maintaining training material on new processes/functionality for Human Resources staff as well as managers and other users;
Document process improvement and opportunities for use by managers and staff;
Participate in planning and execution of upgrades and test cycles, particularly integration and acceptance testing; and
Serve as a liaison between Human Resources and Information Technology; keep current with/understand statutory and regulatory requirements affecting Human Resources, Benefits, Recruitment and Payroll programs.
Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent experience; 5 years HRIS administration, analyst or lead analyst experience required, including development, implementation, optimization, integration and project management;
Solid analytical and problem solving skills;
Proven experience in integrating a human resources data repository in an ERP environment to facilitate inter-company and external application integration;
Experience in requirements gathering, fit gap analysis, design, test case creation required; compensation planning modules and Learning Management systems;
Payroll and Benefits processes a plus; and full life cycle implementation of HRIS systems beneficial;
Team player supporting the HR department as well as internal clients;
Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team setting;
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products;
Excellent planning and organizational skills;
Demonstrated customer service skills; and
Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
