The Manager, Public Relations is responsible for developing and maintaining owned, paid and earned medias, evaluate promotion programs, and assist in setting short and long term strategic objectives that drive heightened brand valuation through public relations, social media and all communications vehicles both internally as well as externally.
Manage the overall communication of the Company message (general and targeted) to the marketplace, media financial market personnel and other audiences of the Company and/or its products;
Manage the functional relationship with the Company's Public relations firm;
Develop an overall Company brand image plan and work with internal and external resources to ensure the successful proliferation of that image/messaging;
Assists in setting short term and long term strategic objectives;
Proactively support Business Development & Product Teams , working closely with key individuals within the business to identify opportunities to expand the Company message while driving market penetration and market expansion initiatives;
Proactively develop and support B2C go-to -market strategies that support the needs of Inovalon's Clients' clients/members;
Manage and oversee consumer public relations matters
Provide Crisis management to support and shape external media responses;
Evaluate advertising and promotion programs to ensure alignment with corporate messaging, priorities and public relations efforts;
Oversee email marketing efforts from creation to execution;
Assist in the creation, managing and reporting of an internal calendar for all public relations and marketing activities;
Manage maintenance of overall online presence to increase brand awareness and visitor engagement, while implementing digital marketing programs to drive high quality traffic to the website in support of the demand generation campaigns;
Manage online communication including social media marketing staff;
Identify and lead implementation of best practices around online marketing, digital campaigns, SEO, and PPC in support of both a B2B business model and a B2C business model; and
Utilize website traffic analysis tools and industry - standard SEO/PPC/advertising analysis tools to quantitatively improve the marketing/advertising effort.
Possess a minimum five years of Public Relations experience or related field;
Must have excellent writing and communications skills;
Have the ability to work effectively in a deadline driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously; and
Ability to build working relationships with the internal business development and communications team, as well as the consumer.
