The Manager, Corporate Communications will serve as an in house authority on effective communications and engagement, researcher, writer, and editor. You are an accomplished marketing professional who enjoys creating content and being the final reviewer of marketing materials to ensure consistency in messaging, tone and editorial style with a full understanding that these materials are a direct reflection of the Inovalon brand. You thrive in a fast paced environment, possess natural leadership skills and demonstrate a consistent willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done right.
Exceptional writing, editing, project planning, and communication skills
Understanding of the healthcare field, and the role of marketing and public relations
Strong communications background as well as project management, problem-solving, and implementation skills
Ability to convey complex information in clear, easy to understand formats
Effective and proficient writing and editing skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
Drafts and edits written communications
Establishes relationships throughout the company to deliver consistent, timely and relevant messaging
Drives employee engagement via communications programs
Demonstrates independent thinking and solid decision making skills and uses good judgment when handling assignments, solving problems, and addressing challenges
Creates deliverables within budget and timeframe
Evaluates current processes and makes recommendations for process changes, then works according to new guidelines or structure
Works independently with the ability to anticipate corporate needs and recommend solutions.
7-10
years relevant industry and/or functional experience;
Excellent journalistic writing skills; compelling message development skills;
Demonstrated experience writing communications for senior executives;
Proven leadership/influencing skills; can influence the highest levels of the organization; shapes business outcomes;
Excellent communications skills; great instincts to guide communications planning and strategy; flawless execution;
Demonstrated ability to drive long-term, enterprise-wide communication efforts with measurable results;
Knowledge of communications best practices; experience managing vendors;
Experience developing and executing communications plans, consistent messaging;
Experience with SharePoint preferred; and
Unafraid to ask questions.
